WEATHER
Known worldwide for its red rock beauty, Sedona is located in Northern Arizona, 120 miles north of Phoenix and 30 miles south of Flagstaff, at an elevation of 4500 ft. above sea level. Sedona enjoys four delightfully mild seasons.
Just remember our two favorite words - casual and comfortable. Shorts and golf shirts, western wear and sundresses are popular daytime attire. Evening dress is also casual, with men's jackets and ties being favored by only a few of the restaurants. If you are visiting in the cooler months, add a sweater or light jacket. If you plan on doing a lot of walking, bring comfortable shoes with arch support. And, no matter what time of year you travel to Sedona - remember that swimsuit. The nearest major airport is Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, 120 miles Southeast of Sedona. It is served by most major air carriers. The Flagstaff Pulliman Airport (FLG) is approximately 30 miles north of the resort. It is not a stop for major air carriers.
